Change is caused by people's opinion and actions. Change is mainly due to peer pressure and a low self-esteem or a belief that someone's different idea is better. Take Mr. Voight for example, his opinion on technology intergration has changed due to the views exspressed by his peers.
Another cause of change is people's actions. Take Hitler for example, his acion of starting World War 2 changed our technology, economy, and overall people's lives. Another way that actions can change something is if someone does something you think is horribly wrong, your opinion of that person normally changes.
I now believe change is everything thanks to Tor. I think what most of us blogged about is just one of the many types of change. Such as colour and habits by yunus and/or needs and actions by subbu, madelyn and amy.

I'm not sure if i believe in that natural selection isn't relevant today either. I can see how it could go either way, but picking the side of that it is obsolete supported my thoughts better :]
Yeah, thats right, but what causes people's opinions to change? Isn't that a change in itself? And their actions, they're based on their opinions of what they think is best to do.
Good thoughts on the whole "change happens when people's ideas or opinions change" thing. It's true that a lot of the time, one change happens because of another. In the example you provided, a person's thought's change, which makes them change something physically. This is probably followed by another change in a person's thoughts, which often makes them change something physically. The cycle often repeats itself.
Amy, where are you getting the natural selection thing from? I like the idea about thoughts and opinions! What leads to those changes in thoughts or opinions as TroyBoy said? By the way, how do things change if they don't have the ability to think?
What about natural changes? change happened before the human species existed. Afeter all it was a change that we came to be.

this is a very touching subject because i am a jew. change is good but hitler is bad, so is curry powder on icecream but anyways i think that we should all just get along and be friends. why can't we share oil and food. us americans dont need any food cause we're all fat but as for asia and africa ect. they need food as u can see because they are all super thin and kinda smelly. i think they need to give us oil becaue they can't afford super expensive cars so they don't need the oil as much and we dont need as much food and they do. therefore all oompa loompas should be freed and given a good job. they are hard workers too, just not as tall.
