Mi Futuro

Like most H.P. kids I knew what I wanted to do in the future at a young age. I wanted to be come a teacher, like everyone in my close and extended family. I wanted to become a social studies teacher in Iowa. That has changed to a biology or Philosophy teacher... In Norway. The reason I wanted to be a teacher is because I am good with kids and I want to due something that will affect the future, hopefully in a good way. A teacher is a role model and influences kids in a lot of ways. Like Jack Black said in School of Rock. I am a teacher, all I need are minds for molding. The reason I am going to teach in Norway is becuase seeing how I am keeping to my roots I might as well go back to them, too. Also the people and politicians here would rather put money other places than in our education system.

Interesting post Adam, so you would rather go to Norway to teach than stay here? And that is becuase our people and government spend too much time and energy on other things? Why don't you stay here and try to change our country for the better? just a question? Besides being part of your ancestry, what is it about Norway that intrigues you? What happens if you get there and don't like it?

Norway huh, well thats cool, it is good that you want to help build a future for younger kids. You would make a good teacher because you are pretty gentle and don;t get mad. I hope you do good, there.

That's pretty selfless being a teacher. For my future i was sorta going for one that was more self center and about me making a ot of money. It's nice to see someone willing to help along those who will be running the world after us.

Word. I never knew you'd want to be a teacher in Norway, but you are from there and you, now that I think of it, seem to be a good person to be a teacher. I think you'll do good in that area.

Norway is pretty sweet, but they also got sweet slopes so since you ski it would be perfect. I think that if go and teach in Norway that would be tight. I agree with Subbu you don't really get that mad Adam. Teaching is a hard job but I think you'd do good for that job, and since you know teachers yourself you could get info on how to solve problems in your teaching style or w/e. If that made any sense.

I think thats pretty cool that you want to be a teacher. I could see you working with kids. You have a lot of the qualities that are needed to do something like that. I think that is awesome that you want to move to Norway. Its really selfless of you to want to benefit the future. I agree, politians don't spend our money on education here. GO NORWAY!!!

i think that would be such a great job. i've always thought it would be so cool to go to norway since my ancestors are norwegian which explains the spelling of my last name. i also wanted to be a teacher at a young age. a teacher would be such a great job. that's one of the jobs i would like to have but i still am not positive yet.
